Degree of Knight of the East

Sir Knights and Cousins, Greetings,

This Saturday at 11am at the Auburn Hills Masonic Center, we have our stated assembly, and will be conferring the Degree of Knight of the East on a class of candidates. The degree work is brief, but we will be conferring it in full form. It is not expected that the work be recited from memory, however, I would ask each officer to familiarize themselves with their parts ahead of time in order to ensure a good experience for our candidates. If you do not have a copy of the ritual at home I can provide you with a digital version.

On the subject of candidates, I would ask that you personally remind any candidate you submitted for membership of the upcoming degree this Saturday just in case they have forgotten.

I am aware we do have a conflict on this date so we will have some spots to fill for the degree. Below is the list of officers and their comparable titles in this degree, so if you are on that list and cannot attend please let me know so we can make arrangements.

In addition to the degree we will also be discussing the option of making the use of official regulation Knight Mason swords available to members of our council.
