Grand Superintendent Letter 2
Sir Knights & Cousins,
Happy Passover and Holy Week. I’ll start by saying I appreciate everyone who as able to make it to the 10th anniversary of the Knight Masons marching in the Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade. We might have run into last minute float issues but nonetheless it was a lovely day, and a good time was had by all.
At the state level, our next big event is the Michigan Knight Masons Statewide Assembly & Trinity Sunday Observance to be held on June 7th at the Lansing Masonic Temple. Beginning at 10am we will be conferring all three Knight Mason degrees with each council in the state being responsible for one of them. Like in years past the degrees are broken down as follows:
Trinity Council No. 36: Knight of the Sword
St. Gobban Saer Council No. 130: Knight of the East
Tully Cross Council No. 131: Knight of the East & West
In order to facilitate coordination, I would appreciate it if each council could send me its cast for its respective degree as soon as possible so we can put together a master cast list and fill any potential holes.
Following the degrees, we will conclude our Trinity Sunday observance with a traditional Irish festive board over at Acapulco Mexican Grill.
It’s not every year that western Easter, eastern Easter (Pascha) and Passover sync up so enjoy the festivities and fellowship this week and I look forward to seeing you all in June if not sooner.
Ne cede malis,
Brandon Mullins, PEC, KCZ
